So I’m outside at the BBQ (We live in L.A.) two days ago and my greasy fingered friend was drooling over my iPad. Three days ago I would have given him “the look” but NOW, with my waterproof case, no worries! Awesome! I wanted to play with it while soaking in the tub, problem solved! Now I’m not worried about leaving it on the coffee table, or using it in the kitchen (great for digital cookbooks) for fear of accidental spills. Plus, the extra bonus for me is the shoulder strap. This iPad is freaking AWESOME but I can’t keep it in my pocket like my iPhone. I’m a songwriter with a disorganized brain who works her own hours. I carry this iPad everywhere so I can jot down random ideas (write pad app has handwriting recognition and Dragon has voice to text!) but often my hands are full. I haven’t been able to find a simple case with a strap. Until I do, the waterproof case works great! I’m thinking of leaving it in the case anytime I’m not using it. I don’t trust the slobs I know NOT to grease it up.

I bought this so my child can use the ipad, mainly because of Spills and even scratches. The iPad fits inside and the plastic sort of clings to the ipad so there are no bubbles. It protects great, A kid could spill anything and it would never do any damage. It is quite responsive through the plastic cover, and well I would highly recommend it if you are using it with kids. I don’t think it would be my main cover unless I worked in a wet environment. I therefore give it 4 out of 5.

This case does exactly what it was intended to do. Protect the iPad from the elements. ( mainly dirty, liquids etc..) other than that, this case just doesn’t cut it for me. First, the case sticks to the iPad screen which leaves bubbles that you cannot get out. Although you can see the iPad fine, the bubbles are very very noticeable which takes away from the beauty of the screen. Second, although the plastic seems pretty thick, it does not protect against falls or accidental dings. One user was able to get this case to fit with the original apple case for the extra protection. Although there is plenty of extra room in this case, i was unable to do this for fear of tearing the plastic. You will want to make sure the bottom of the ipad is facing the opening so you don’t have to pull the whole thing out to connect the cable and sync. The strap (more like thick string) is totally useless, in my opinion. When hanging from my shoulder or around my neck, it feels af if the case will give at any moment. And as mentioned earlier, since this case doesn’t provide too much accident protection, I’m not sure how anyone could walk around with this thing hanging from your shoulder.
I will keep the case as it’s great for my kids, but i I will invest in another case.

Don’t use this product if your iPad has a screen Protector on it. The clear plastic stuck to my $30 Zagg Invisishield, and was unable to removed from Trendy case without detroying the invisishield.

That Trendy Digital iPad case seems to work fine in the first week, but then the weld at the top of the seal on both sids failed allowing the case to leak, and preventing any further use, do to its inability to keep the iPad dry.
