It’s happened about 4 times now. The first 3 times have been when i have turned my phone off because it wouldn’t work because of freezing, or camera wasn’t working or something. But this morning I accidentally dropped my phone and the battery came out..and it won’t come back on now. The last few times I’ve just let it sit by itself or plug it up to my charger for hours and i could near the power button and it would turn back on. Last time it turned on by itself. My batter has been fully charged each time. My phone has been off for about 8 hours now, and i let it sit on my surround charger for about 2 i guess. I’ve tried battery pulls, i’ve let the battery sit out of the phone for a few hours. I’ve left it alone. NOTHING. i’m getting VERY annoyed. This should not be happening. Any advice or tricks I can trry?

my droid 2 did that to me many times, the only thing that i could ever do is a hard reset, but hopefully that will be your last option because if you dont have the phone set up with google you will loose everything you have. either way you will loose all your apps.
Just google how to do a hard reset on a droid 2. just be as specific with the type of phone you have, idk if its the global one or not but if it is be sure to type that in.
you might get a few different ways to do it, just try them and one will work

Hi,
a few weeks ago I received an email from www.send-email.org, which is a website that gives you a standard email address to send anonymous emails. Now I started to receive anonymous calls on my mobile and weird text messages, so I started to look up how to track the real sender of the email. Unfortunately the only device I found was an app that tracked the sender through the header of the email, but of course it tracked the IP of the general server, which is based in Huston, Texas… but I’m from Italy and the email was in Italian! Please help me out!
@Shreya: I already checked the sender IP, but it is the IP of send-email.org.. I wanted to know if somehow I could know who the real sender was!

I just got the extended battery for my droid 2. I place it in and ran the battery down to dead now it appears that its now charging and it wont turn on. Usually when i plug the charger in even when it’s dead it will show the Motorola sign but it wont even do that. But the strange part is the tiny light by where you plug the charger in is illuminated. I’m going to leave it plugged in for a while but if that doesn’t work i need to know what to do!

Depends on the version of Android you have. If you’re running the stick version of Android installed on the phone (probably 2.1 on the Slide), you can’t do this without rooting the phone and installing a altered ROM that has this feature.

If you don’t wish to do that, move for the 2.2 (FroYo) update to get pushed to your phone. That feature is built into 2.2.

I don’t know when the update is being pushed, even though HTC has stated “soon” (that was in primeval June).

Vevo blocks access to its videos from certain sources even if its thru youtube. I can't play Vevo videos if accessing Youtube from my PS3 or from my Fios box.
