Have the phone now for about two months as a replacement for my Xperia X1, which was too buggy in the long term, in use.
I must state I am absolutely impressed, the processing is top, the OS, unlike Windows Mobile is very stable and battery life impressed me again and again. The device is visually appealing and the admittedly small buttons can navigate with a tiny practice, tap amazingly fast, even using the touchpad works great, so are small office work and email traffic is no problem.
I am not exactly the most frequent callers, instead, like to go to the World wide web or write times ne SMS / email, all in all, I call on average 10 minutes a day, 30-60min’m online, so I charge my battery only each 1.5 weeks, to beat creates no other manufacturer! Using the BlackBerry Push option builds no constant connection via the mobile phone hsdpa (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) ( or on edge, but nearly gets data “pushed”, which saves significant battery capacity. Who wants to do without, however, push, will be without, with a few steps and vendors such as shang mail etc., not to Push option for emails, there are other third-party software are plentiful, this is certainly something for everyone. One should not forget that this is a business phone and not a Game Boy;)
Genial is the “holster” function of the BB, then you place his device in the holster automatically turns off the display, where we were again the subject of energy efficiency;)
Certainly interesting are the additional features such as group calendars, etc. Companies can do this and I want to state anything at this point, since I use the phone solely as a private person, more details on this subject is certainly on the side of the manufacturer.
BlackBerry Bold 9700 – I’m Excited

I am also migrating from a toy “iPhone” and I can only connect to the posts here. After I convince myself of the totally lousy calibre of the iPhone for much more money had I am now in the search for a new adult and high-quality mobile phone finally found it. Also ordered from Amazon, get smart, and now absolutely smitten.
There is not much new to add, but happy times my Conclusion:
– Brilliant display, but the size is perfect, razor-sharp display
– Unbeaten Battery life, even with high use
– Great design, noble appearance
– Nice processing
– Shock-proof
– MicroSD expandable by simply
– Easy access as a extractable disk
– A lot of cool apps
– Totally brilliant sound quality, with or without earphones
– Easy and intuitive operation
– Above the average signal strength, I stand in cinemas, shops, at home to receive three bars where I otherwise had no reception. that’s pretty much the biggest plus
– And so the phone gets a proper value after the release of the BlackBerry Options. So it’s fun to be mobile
The only thing I do not like so much the rudimentary menu. While everything is already on the home page with nice icons have been revised, but when one enters the menus it looks like a written down text file, but even that can probably be simple to adapt from a BlackBerry provided free of charge tool beautiful. And let’s grappling it … who wants a toy can even switch back to the iPhone.
My BlackBerry Bold 9700 .. finally a grown stingy unit that neither innovation nor quality. On the contrary. RIM Thanks for a really great phone. The mobile call progress.
My iPhone has, after only four months now, finally found the way to eBay.
